San Francisco is the best...

San Francisco has great weather. people always complain about how it rains alot, but it's beats NY being way too cold, and LA being hot and dirty air-ish every so often, but i think the real thing people should complain about is the over-amount of hippies, and crusties who hang out on Haight. Not to mention the over political people who are preaching to the already converted. SF is strange place where the converted preach to the converted. But they do have Naan N Curry, which is the best. As well as APE, which was this past weekend... mainly because of this:

Who is that you say? It's Matt Groening. aka "I invented The Simpsons", aka "I have the longest running television show in history", aka "I created something that is more influential than any TV show and other pop cultural element (maybe) ever." aka "people generate dialogue and relate to life with something i made." aka you get the point. The creator of The Simpsons was at APE, and we didn't even know it.

And why might that be relevant? Because we made this shirt:

haha. yep. He came, he saw it and he said "oh wow." So the Homer Dick shirt is officially Matt Groening approved. And not only did he get a shirt from us, he signed that one, as well as picking up other stuff from us, and taking a picture of all of us holding up the shirt we made, which he said he was going to put on his site/blog.

Star struck?! Not often, but this time yes. We completely nerded out and it was quite a moment for us. We didn't want to wash our hands after he shook them. That's how much we nerded out. Anyways...special thanks to Emiliofish for inviting us and luring Matt to our table. We were too much of weenies to try to flag him down.

But that made our day, as well as quite a moment for our lives. Don't act like you wouldn't nerd out either like we did.

Because we nerded out. Big time.
